I was shopping for some digital stuff at twopeas a month or so ago, and purchased a couple of DigiKits by Rhonna Farrer (Spring Frippery and Sassy really grabbed me!). I thought they were fun, and just shoved them into my often-ignored digital scrapbooking folder. Then I saw the banner ads for Scrap-a-Faire on splitcoast.
I clicked. I registered. Hey, I had to . . . After all, I had the supplies already!
I finally took one of the classes I signed up for tonight. Lookie what I did! I’m so excited!
“Sassy” DigiKit available here, created by Rhonna Farrer for Scrap-a-Faire.
I’d piddled with digital stuff before, and downloaded a boatload of kits from different sites, both paid and freebie alike. Rhonna put it all into easy peasy terms and this is actually the second layout I made. Even though she encouraged saving, being the dorkus maximus that I am, I didn’t, and then just got out of the program thinking I was getting out of iPhoto. Sigh. . . anyway!
While I personally found some of the screens too blinky and flashy, the class itself was super easy to follow. I followed it pretty much exactly to make this page (it realllly resembles hers so much that I can’t really say “I did it myself,” know what I mean?). The class lasted just long enough for me to start a load of laundry. When class was over, I transferred the clothes to the dryer. If you have a chance, sign up! There are several different classes available, and you get a discount when you enroll for more than one or three or something.
Loved learning something new, and can’t wait to go back and check out the other classes I enrolled in!

Jenn, this page is ALMOST as gorgeous as that little face in the pic!!! AWESOME!!
That’s awesome! Love those bright colors and she is so pretty! Rhonna has some really beautiful stuff. Have you checked out DST? It’s like SCS but for digi. (Like you need another board to hang out in!)http://www.digishoptalk.com/
Have a great weekend!
Super-Cool page, Jenn! I have also invested in many digital kits and haven’t done much with mine. I just went to the site you recomended, but, alas, it requires high-speed access. I’ve got to find time to explore this more!
gorgeous as always-I cannot believe how big and grown up Adrianna is getting!
Oh wow! This is adorable! I just tried digi scrapbooking for the first time last week! Super fun! I think I may become addicted!
I SO need to take a digi class. Glad to know this one was easy and you liked it, Jenn. Now if I only had the time, LOL! 🙂
OH, and your page is wonderful . . . adorable subject, too!
