I stamped!

I’m so proud of myself for actually thinking ahead, and having cards completed before I needed them. It’s a good feeling, for sure! I may have to do that more often!

The personalities of my mom and mother-in-law are very different, but their cards are basically the same. I just added pearls for Mike’s mom, and lots of rhinestones for mine. While I was stamping, I figured I might as well do a whole stack in the same colors and design, just with different ribbons and some without sentiments.

Stamps: Bodacious Bouquet, All Year Cheer
Ink: Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Cool Caribbean, Basic Black
Cardstock: Shimmery White, Certainly Celery, Cool Caribbean, Regal Rose
Accessories: Ribbon and ribbon charms by Making Memories, Self-adhesive pearls from Ellen, self-adhesive rhinestones from Target, Fiskars scalloped scissors from Michael’s

I needed a few more “miss you” kind of cards, and finally used some new Rubber Romance images for a couple like this:

I really enjoyed watercoloring these big images, but it was a little hard (for me) to add sentiments and accessories. I’m happy with them, though!

Stamps: Girlfriends on a Bench, New York Shopping District, and Paper Tray.
Ink: A bunch of reinkers plus Palette Noir for stamping.
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Shimmery White
Accessories: Narrow black organdy and black & white gingham, aquapainter

This week, I hope to share more creations from my stamping spree. I did some scrapbooking, and actually put more than one picture on each page. That’s a big step for me!

Hope y’all had a great weekend and got some time to be creative!

These are awesome! Thanks for the inspiration. I used your Mother’s Day cards design to make post-it holders for my boys’ teachers for teacher appreciation week.

All of these cards are great! I’m having a hard time NOT succumbing to those Rubber Romance stamps (I guess in a way it helps that EP is out of the UM ones that I want…that won’t help me for long though)! I especially love the way you colored on the 2cd one! Just gorgeous!
