Birthday Brothers

Two of my nephews have birthdays within a few days of each other (and their Mom, too!).  Little brother Nathaniel turned two this year, and the party celebrated both birthday boys!   Family parties are always a lot of fun and this one was no different . . . especially since it involved dads and kids staying behind while moms went out to the mall! 

Anyway, here are the cards that Adri and I stamped for the birthday boys.  Both are 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ if I remember right, and both have Stampin’ Up! images (with the exception of the “birthday wishes” on the second card) from sets that Adri loves and thought appropriate.  This one was for Nick:

Cardstock: Buckaroo Blue, Ruby Red, Old Olive, Whisper White

Ink: Staz On, Buckaroo Blue

Accessories: Large & Small tag punches, 1/2″ circle punch, 1/8″ handheld punch, Bluebird (I think?) grosgrain ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Piercing guide and tool, White Signo Gel pen, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Black journaling marker, Aquapainter, sponge for edges of Bucaroo Blue panel

Accessories: Paper Piercing guide and tool, Edge distressor from the little cutter kit thingee, markers for sketched grass and balloon

    I like both cards the layouts are simple but effective, nice color combo’s and use of dimension.

    These are such FUN!! Adrianna is so lucky to have such a talented Momma to teach her the art of rubber stamping! Mom & Daughter stamping is a joy for the heart! *wink*
