Another Fab Flower

fabtreschic.jpg

I love Groovy Guava – it’s such a perfectly peachy orange-y, pretty color! I had some stuff out from another project, and threw this 5 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ card together.

Details on supplies and a response to a tag after the page break. Click for

First the supplies:

Stamps: Tres Chic, Fabulous Flowers

Ink: Groovy Guava

Cardstock: Groovy Guava, Barely Banana, My Mind’s Eye Tres Jolie “Smile” (Stripe reverses to banana)

Accessories: Pistachio ribbon from Ribbon Barn in So. Cal (oh, the memories that came rushing back when I sliced into it!), Stickles, tons of dimensionals

Now the tag.

I’m not normally one to play tag (just ask my kids!) but seven random things? Yeah, I can do that!

1. I love to look at our pretty yard and enjoy the flowers we’ve planted, but I avoid yardwork like the plague. However, if I’m yapping on the phone with a friend, I’ll sit out front and pull weeds. The reception’s good out there!

2. When my neighbor Debi brings her yummy pecan dessert over before Christmas for the family to share, I end up eating most of it. No guilt, though, since Mike says it’s too sweet, and the kids don’t care for the pecans. Plus, it’s a holiday food, so there are no calories, right?

3. I love to reorganize, and sometimes prefer to rearrange my stuff to actually playing with it. This applies only to crafty stuff, and not my bedroom. That is complete chaos, and up until a few weeks ago (when we did a total room makeover), the door to that room stayed closed. Couldn’t have company see the wreck in there!

4. I adore having fresh flowers around me, and always bring some home from the grocery store when I go shopping. They liven up any room!

5. Coco Mademoiselle is my favorite fragrance, hands down. When Beate lived here, her husband always knew when I was in their house. I really don’t bathe in it. . . the scent just lingers!

6. I have a lot of ribbon already, and am expecting more. I honestly don’t know where I’m going to put it all, but suspect I’ll find a way. . . with more reorganization!

7. I enjoy watching romantic movies, and will watch some of them over and over again. My daughter’s just as sappy as I am, and we’ll sit and watch them while we stamp. My Best Friend’s Wedding is a current favorite!

K, I think everyone’s already been tagged . . . . so that’s all, folks! Have a happy week!
