The Dare to Get Dirty challenges have been fun to watch from the sidelines the past couple of days. I haven’t been able to participate much ’cause I’ve been doing some other stuff (and you can read the personal stuff after the break if you like), but did get a chance to make a sample for atomicbutterfly’s challenge. Here’s mine (which kinda goes with my challenge that I didn’t even stamp for!):
What’s been keeping me busy? Read on. . . Thursday:
I had a late lunch with Geeta at Red Robin. I suppose the stars and planets were perfectly aligned or something! It’s been two years since we first met and since the last time I saw her! We spent the afternoon at Stamp Antonio Arts, and then headed back to my house. It was so fun to get to talk to her in person! We communicate much by email or private message. SO MUCH fun to be right there. Thanks for a fabulous afternoon, Geeta!
and Friday:
Beate & Rick came over for dinner and then we did some stamping while the men played poker. Much, much fun! This picture was taken around midnight last night, before we decided to pack it up and watch a movie. I’ll see her again on Sunday, and I’m sure you’ll see some of the stuff we made in a few weeks!
Right now, I’m heading out to the kids’ belt promotion ceremony. They leave as green belts and return as blue belts. FUN!
Can’t wait to get home and do some challenges, and to see what y’all have uploaded!

I didn’t originally like Fabulous Flowers *U-N-T-I-L* I saw how you cut the flower apart and layer it! Now I have to have it!!! I’m getting it for free (well almost) with hostess benefits from a recent stamp camp Whoo hoo!!!! Thanks for sharing such fabulous things.
Oh, and congrats to your kids on their next belts. My daughter has been taking karate for almost 6 years (in November) and is a red/black…. hoping to test for black in about 6-8 more months. She just turned 14. It’s such a great thing for kids!
