Tracy asked how I was going to attach the tags to the cards once the ribbon was already tied. I learned this cool trick from my dear friend Valerie, and use it whenever I have generic cards that need to be spiffed up with a tag. Basically, you just create a little tag like you’d use on your produce at the grocery store (well, what used to be used on bread and veggies before the twist tie, right?) with your punches and scissors. Here’s a pic that I snapped while making a little gift box for Chandler’s friend’s party . . . the photo shows better than I can explain!
So just punch out the tag, punch a hole, then snip a portion off at the edge. Then you just tie the ribbon on your project or card, and slip the tag under the knotted part. Easy, right? I love little tips like this that make my stamping easier!
Here’s the finished project (super cute if I do say so myself!), a little 2-5-7-10 box stuffed with a gift card, Pokemon card pack, and some candy bars. Chan chose the colors . . .
You can find the tutorial for the box here. Supplies used are pretty easy to figure out, so let me know if something’s not, and I’ll clarify.
Have a great weekend!
PS for Julie: The transparency on the Sage page? It’s just the “Follow Your Dreams” strip on the far right of the strip of photos, and it’s adhered with glue dots under the ribbon.

Oh, for Heaven’s sake! What an amazing idea that’s amazingly simple. Dang! Super cute box, too. Love all that glitter!
Hi Jenn,
I love your idea with the tag – but I am just wondering: Is it not falling off the ribbon if you are just sliding it under the bow? But I have to admit that it looks great and my son would also prefer your colour combination, everything too girlish would just be embarrasing!
