That’s what I had with this week’s sketch! My husband said, “That’s nice,” and you all know what that means. Start over! Maybe later this evening, when he takes the kids to the driving range. Who am I kidding? This sucker’s not getting redone. It will go into my mom’s “okay to take” basket!
I can’t wait to check out what Beate, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, and Sharon did with this one! I was talking to Lori, and she suggested these colors, and guess what? They perfectly matched this May Arts ribbon that was on my desk already!
Just look at that ribbon!
See, if you look at *that* you’ll ignore that the card isn’t quite right!
Again, let me know if you have any questions about what I’ve used on this card, and I’ll let you know.
Edited to add:
Thanks for the sweet words, everyone! Background on the Taken With Teal piece is Stampin’ Up!’s Baroque background, and it’s stamped in Bravo Burgundy Craft ink.
To get the Teal centers under the gold brads, I just used the solid center circles from the PaperTrey set, Beautiful Blooms.
Have a great weekend!

OH I LOVE this, Jenn! Those colors are awesome!
Jenn, I think it’s great. Maybe Mike was busy watching sports and didn’t pay proper attention to the card.
And yes, that ribbon is FREAKING GORGEOUS!
Wow, that IS gorgeous ribbon, Jenn! I think you did a fabulous job tying it together with these stamps and color choices . . . that’s a tough thing to do. Love the turquoise organdy ribbon accent, too — it’s just perfect!
Oh, this is beautiful! I love the cut out flowers…and that ribbon is breathtaking!
NO…this needs to be mailed to 719 E. ….., Mike needs a knock on the noggin, and I am not afraid to say it! This is BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that ribbon. What is the background image on the turquoise? And for the record, I think your color combo rocks! 🙂
wow, you’re kidding right? This card is gorgeous – so RICH looking
Gorgeous, Jenn!! Such beautiful colors and that ribbon is so beautiful!! Wow!!

I think this card is gorgeous. Love the ribbon.
Jenn — there is a LOT to really love about this card, too –what was the Trouble? I am guessing that the green block is giving you the hesitation, but can’t be sure ;^)* Maybe I am just proving myself the novice, here. Anyway, that floral (tapestry?) ribbon with the sheer is a brilliant combination.
I do have a question — it is the tiny bit of blue in the centers of the flowers… how was that achieved?
Thanks so much, Julie
This is Beautiful! I love what you did with the ribbon!
I love your card. Nothing wrong with it at all.
What’s wrong with this card? It’s beautiful. I’d take it any day. The colors are great, and the ribbon is one I’d love to own.

What trouble? It turned out just splendid!!! The color combo is so striking and where did you get that ribbon!? Wow!
Jenn – I must repeat what everyone else has said – that card is GORGEOUS!! The ribbon was the bonus but I wouldn’t change a thing! But I must ask, is it a shadow from your light or did you really create the shadow behind the flowers? Wow either way!!
This is beautiful! One of my favorite sets by SU!

Are you crazy…this is GORGEOUS! I love all the gold detailing and that ribbon is to die for. Mike was distracted by something else and didn’t get a good look at this beauty!

Jenn, I love your card. You do marvelous work. After seeing your card, I now have to have Baroque background. Did you use a metallic pencil to outline it?
