When you need a girlie gift in a hurry

and have a houseful of kids and no desire to take them all to the maul mall to choose a birthday present for a little girl whose party is in a few hours and you’ve had all kinds of other things to do during the week and didn’t get a chance to buy said gift and are whining to a friend about your poor, poor situation, try this!

Thank you, Lori, for a fabulous idea. I so, so, so appreciate it!

If I’d had a little more time, I probably would have painted the skewers green, and used shredded green tissue instead of the crumpled pink stuff.

Edited to add: I’ve had several emails asking how I got te leaves on the skewers. I made another flower, and took a few pics. You can see those after the page break.

Here’s the card:

This is something I’ll do even when I only have my two kids and time to shop for a gift.

Thanks for visiting!

This should explain. If it doesn’t, let me know!
