Friday sketch challenge

This card is based on Beate’s sketch for this week. Visit Beate, Charmaine (Happy new baby, Charmaine!), Laurie, Lori, Mary Jo, and Sharon (congrats on the Spellbinders gig!) . . . . they’re sure to have fabulous stuff for you to see, as usual!
Santa is from Crafty Secrets and is watercolored on Poison Ivory cardstock, carefully trimmed, then glittered with a Sakura glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. He’s mounted with dimensionals to a panel of flocked paper from Making Memories that I picked up in Portland (and have bought all I can here in SA!), then Garden Green. That’s mounted with dimensionals to a Chocolate Chip card base. Chocolate satin finishes it off. I guess it needs a sentiment, but I didn’t have time to fiddle with that before I hit the sheets last night!

Ahh, that sweet Crafty Santa — love him, Jenn! And I don’t blame you for buying up all that gorgeous flocked poinsettia paper, that’s fabulous! I’m just glad I don’t live in SA, where there’s no more available! This is delightful, girl — so nostalgic!

I love that santa…man if I could only get my hands on that stamp……..I love how you trimmed it all out, and how the image pops against the traditional Christmas colors. This is beautiful!

Oh my goodness!!! That is such a rich and grand card! That flocked paper has me drooling!!!!!!!!!!!! And the glitter on the perfectly colored Santa is spectacular!
