Perfect pink princess

When Jami saw the Elzybells ad banner on splitcoast a month or so ago, she (like a bunch of y’all!) fell in love, and bought a few stamps. I don’t think she was alone at all! I mean, we want to support a new-to-us stamp company, right? 😉

She challenged Dirty Dozen members past and present to create a card with the same image (A Winter Song), the color Pretty in Pink, and no patterned paper. Here’s mine. . . as you can tell, I went totally Jami and loaded up on “stuff”. . . after all, more is more! Stuff:

Pretty in Pink card base is stamped with the Elzybells snowflake in Pink Passion.  Martha Stewart felt snowflake ribbon (oh. my. gosh!) was adhered to a Pink Passion strip and then glittered with Dazzling Diamonds. I didn’t like the straight edge the Pink Passion gave, so I cut the strip down a bit on one side, and then trimmed around the edges before adhering.

The main image is layered on a Nestabilities scalloped rectangle, a Pretty in Pink rectangle punched with the ticket corner punch, and then  stamped on Whisper White. I stamped in Palette Noir, and then colored with Copic & SU! markers, then went to town with that lovely bright pink glitter from Martha Stewart, Dazzling Diamonds, and Swarovski crystals here and there. The sentiment is a tiny flag (whoever thought of that idea. . . brilliant!) anchored by a matches-in-real-life snowflake sequin and another crystal.

This was such a super fun card to make. Thanks for making me use my stamps, Jami!
