Love is in the air

and all over my office/craft room. I love Christmas- and Valentine’s Day-themed papers the most of all patterned papers. All of that red, all of that sparkle. And hearts! Can’t get enough of hearts! From Arthur Court heart-shaped bowls (you have to have a pretty place to put that jewelry you take off!) and stuff from Target’s current holiday offerings (glittered heart topiaries? Be still my heart!) to pretty stamps like the one I used on today’s card. . . I love it all.

I also loved Beate’s sketch for this week! You can find it here, and find mucho inspiration by visiting Beate, Cami, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, Mary Jo, and Sharon, too! I am always excited to see how everyone has put their own touches on the sketch, how about y’all? Check out the gallery, too!

Click for details and sources if you’re interested. Have a wonderful Friday and a happy weekend!

Stamps: Stampendous Ornate Heart.

Ink: Real Red from SU!

Paper: SU! Chocolate Chip (card base + layers), Poison Ivory for heart and sentiment. Scrap Works “Love in Bloom” in Sketches (swirly flowers and leaves reverse to solid red and Stripe (reverse to solid dusty pink) were both picked up at my local scrapbook store, a must-stop-by every Saturday morning.

Accessories: I used the ticket corner punch is from SU! and Fiskars small scalloped scissors as well as Making Memories “Love Story” chipboard shapes, rubons, brads from either online or my LSS (I don’t remember where, just that I had to have it ALL!). Cinnamon Stickles (could my line be more lumpy?), adhesive-backed pearls from ePaperie. Ribbon is satin SU! and May Arts dotted sheer ribbon from Cindy. I also used a ton of dimensionals.

ALSO:  If you have emailed me about stuff you’d like from the For Sale page and I have not replied, please send the email again. I deleted a *ton* of spam emails from my inbox, and know for sure that I deleted two emails that I had been waiting for. Thank you for your patience. It’s been a really busy week at the Balcer house this week (making these invites and then making and framing six enlargements of the invites and designing (then printing! gasp!) full-color trifold brochures for a happening-at-10-am-today ribbon cutting), and I hate to think I’ve missed something or kept someone waiting!
