Jenn Balcer

A little bit about me and some of the things I love.

It’s been a long week!

Posted by Jenn on March 14th, 2008

I don’t know about y’all, but I’m ready for a Friday. I’ve been ready since, oh, about 7 am on Monday, to tell the truth! Come quittin’ time, I’m gonna fly.

Not much stamping going on with this week’s sketch challenge. There are bright colors and sparklies in abundance, though, and that’s perfect for a Friday before Spring Break. For tons of inspiration, be sure to visit Beate, Cami, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, Mary Jo, and Sharon this morning. I always look forward to seeing what they’ve created!

Simple supply list for a very glittery and *heavy* card follows:

Stamps: Just retired By Definition.

Ink: Tempting Turquoise + Orange Copic to color in Making Memories “cheeky” glitter letters. How cool is that? They were a pale pink, and now they’re *the* perfect orange!

Paper: Tempting Turquoise, American Crafts Cucumber Sandwiches paper, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, and Jenni Bowlin’s Turquoise Wallpaper on the butterfly (also just out).

Accessories: Petaloo orange flowers, Doodlebug polkadotted button, turquoise & green ribbon from Michael’s, I think, Jenni Bowlin chipboard butterfly, Xyron to adhere patterned paper to chipboard and Dazzling Diamonds to patterned paper, Making Memories shimmer letters, tons of foam dots for dimension, and new SU! glitter from the Cosmo package (used Scotch 3m adhesive for that, and after doing the front, went all around the sides, too).
