I’m just not good at follow-through! But this one I can do while I’m uploading my color challenge card to the gallery . . .
Joan said to share seven things, so you’ll see ’em listed below:
- As a way to reduce the clutter in my newly redone office, and instead of reorganizing stuff I don’t use often, I’ve been purging. A lot.
- I am reading two books right now, Gone For Good and I just started The Secret Life of Bees.
- I am not a morning person unless I’m away from home. Then, I get up at the crack of dawn (or before) and am chipper and ready to roll. Not so at home!
- We’ve been trying to figure out what to wear for family pictures in a few weeks. I’m nervous and excited since we haven’t taken “real” family pictures (if you count The Picture People as real family pictures, and even then it was probably four years ago) in a long time. I can’t wait!
- I am going to start working from home at noonish tomorrow.
- I have avoided making dinner for several weeks. I guess tomorrow I might surprise the family with a real home-cooked meal.
- I’m not sure if I like this season of Heroes yet.
Now y’all tell me some random stuff!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Secret Life of Bees!! It was one of my summer reads. I wish my daughter was a few years older because I can’t wait to share it with her!

As much as I love being stationed in San Diego (hubby is military) & being so close to family, I really can’t wait to move back to Florida.

2. Currently reading “Rhett Butler’s People” – like you didn’t know THAT was gonna happen!!
3. I hate that I’m a 4:41 AM morning person….that’s when I wake up, with or without the alarm….and horrifyingly enough, I’m chipper when I wake up. Eeek.
4. Family pictures? What’s that? Haven’t had one with my family since 2000…..
5. I’d like to quit working – period!
6. I’m pretty darned good at avoiding cooking too, girlfriend! I’ve cooked 2 meals in 3 weeks! YAY ME! 🙂
7. I’ve never seen Heroes……but I can’t watch enough Law & Order or Deadwood. Or The Sopranos, even though I’ve seen every episode a multitude of times….
