Quickie card. . . quickie post.

This one is so not me! I do like it for its simplicity, though. No extra bling, no ribbons, nothing but a few words to let someone know I’m thinking of them. That’s what it’s about, right?

I got my first SU! order of the year yesterday and wanted to use one of my new favorite stamps and a new favorite color on today’s sketch challenge card. Beate’s really into circles lately, and since I am a little pressed for time today, I didn’t want to stray from her sketch. 🙂 I used Chocolate Chip, Kraft, and Tangerine Tango here with the Upsy Daisy stamp set, my piercing and distressing tools – super easy.

For lots of gorgeous inspiration and more takes on Beate’s sketch for this week, visit Beate, Cami, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, Mary Jo, and Sharon. I look forward to Fridays for many reasons. . . .and one of the main ones is that I make time to check out their creations!

I have a busy day planned. . . work, and lunch with a friend today, have poker night here tonight, and family pictures tomorrow and I still don’t know what we’re all wearing. Nothing like waiting ’til the last minute, huh?
