We finally had some real family portraits taken the other day, and I’m excited to see what Maile captured through her lens. She’s wonderful and put our family at ease and we had FUN and didn’t feel forced. Just a wonderful, wonderful experience. Anyway . . . she has a challenge on her blog, and I thought I’d play along. Check it out here. . . and post some of your almost-deleted shots in the comments. I’d love to see ’em. Here are mine.
I let my daughter take pictures last weekend when we went out to PF Chang’s for dinner. She’s eight and loves to take pictues almost as much as she loves being photographed. These are a little fuzzy, certainly blurry and ill-lit, and so representative of how my first full week as a work-at-home mom went. This week should be better. I’m counting on it!
Thanks, Maile!

HOpe this week is better, Jenn! Can’t wait to see the pics! 🙂
ha!!! Those are great!
I think a lot of work at home moms drink, fyi – did no one give you that memo? 🙂
tee hee – hope it gets better!
I think you should sign her up for some classes. This is wonderful. It looks like she captured your thoughts. Especially with a full time work schedule. Good luck with that. I know it must be stressful.

Love the name Maile. Love that she likes to take photos. Encourage her as it is such a wonderful gift to see things through the camera lenses perspective. My 15 y/o DD has a wonderful sense for photography and is actually on her 2nd digital camera. Hope your week is going better this week.
