Flower

Running late. . .

. . . it’s cooler outside finally, and I’m having a hard time getting moving this morning! Here’s my card for Beate’s sketch for this week.

Crazy colors (kiwi kiss, purely pomegranate, chocolate chip) were pulled from a piece of Basic Grey patterned paper I had out from Tuesday’s color challenge (it was rejected). I had the pre-glittered Making Memories chipboard out for the circular element and used it when choosing an image to go inside. The rose and sentiment are from Kitchen Sink Stamps (happy first birthday, Maria!), and so easy to use. I thought they worked really well here!

For more sketch inspiration, be sure to visit Beate, Cami, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, and Sharon. MJ’s taking the week off for a much needed break!

I’m off to get some work done. Yesterday was kind of a blur. I dropped the kids off at school and drove all around town, then came home, worked for a little bit, and spent the afternoon/evening at the mall with the kids. Chandler has a pair of glasses now! Tonight, a bunch of us are getting together for dinner on the Riverwalk (since SU! regionals are here this weekend), and I’m expecting company. Belinda King’s on her way and is spending the night tonight. I am excited to have a friend over!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Mmmm, I’m pretty sure that I need to pin that card up on my bulletin board for full appreciation of it’s beauty. Jealous of your girlfriend get-together, but I’ll see you soon! 🙂 Hugs, friend!
