Long card, short blahblah

Today’s sketch is brought to us by Mary Jo Albright. You’ll find it here . . . I kinda groaned when I saw it, thought. . . oh my goodness, what’s going to work?  And once I got to playing, I liked it. . .a lot!  Find some lovely cards made with this sketch when you visit Beate, Cami, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, Mary Jo,  and Sharon.   Here’s a closer view of mine. . . .

the image is from Stamping Bella – I adore the new Ketto images and I thought that little Ivy worked well with the papers I’d chosen. It’s from the My Mind’s Eye Bloom & Grow collection (The little punched-out flowers, leaves, and the scalloped orange polkadotted strip came from an accessory sheet). in Memento Ink, colored with Copics, and was very liberal in adding Dazzling Diamonds glitter with my handy dandy glue pen.

Hope y’all have a fabulous weekend – our is packed full of activities already, and I just want to go sit in the sun somewhere where noone can find me to ask where underwear or socks or towels or toilet paper are, whether the taxes are done, what’s for dinner, or what there is to do because someone’s bored. Ever had one of those days? One of those weeks? 🙂

I know exactly what you are talking about! I am at the end of one of those weeks — still haven’t started taxes, but will get to them when the musical I am directing is over tomorrow night! And since we are supposed to get 5-10 inches of snow tomorrow and Sunday, I would LOVE a quiet, sunny, warm place!! Have a great weekend!

I love these stamps. I think it is one of the best Bella lines. Great job. I have never made a long card. This is the perfect image to use. I hope you get that relaxation time.
