My favorite sister graduated from UIW today. Sure, she’s my only sister, but she’s my favorite nonetheless.  I am so happy that I got to watch her walk across that stage and get her hard-earned diploma. I don’t know if her two kids realize how hard their momma’s worked to get there, or how much she’s sacrificed to go back to school and finish her degree. I don’t know if her husband Bennie knows how much I adore him for being so supportive. I don’t know if my sister knows how proud we all are of her and of her accomplishment, or how happy we are to see her realize this goal.  I do know this: I love her to pieces.

This card was totally inspired by Amy Westerman’s graduation card here, but made with my A Muse stamps, some patterned paper from Luxe, some ribbon from Papertrey, and a big ol’ red rhinestone brad, too. Good stuff.

awwww, I love YOUR card better! When I first stopped by your blog, I saw it and said to myself…”geez, I totally have to case this card”! I especially love how you put polka-dotted (is that even a word?) the letters and hand wrote above it. Really, really beautiful Jenn! And the story you shared about your sister going back to school to get her degree was so touching. I can’t imagine doing that with two kids and a husband…I could barely handle it when I was young:)! Hugs! Enjoy your celebration together!
