Spring 101

wsc101.jpg

I saw this little embellishment kit from Making Memories at Target the other day and since the package was still on my desk instead of put away, I thought I’d use the stuff on a card for today’s sketch. It’s a lot brighter and spring-y-er than suits our current Texas weather, but I like it just fine!   It’s been typical Texas “Fall” here lately . . .  really warm and sunny then grey and slightly cooler and then back again.  I’ve been loving the overcast days and cooler temperatures!  As I type this, it’s pouring outside, we’re under a flash flood warning. Good times!

Find Beate’s 101st sketch on her blog here, and then make sure to visit Cami (check back a little later!), Charmaine, Laurie, Mary Jo, and Sharon, too. They always have such pretty things to see. . . .

Stuff: Papers here are a mix – green floral is My Mind’s Eye, pink text is from Making Memories, teal-y brocade (reverses to what MissMatch Ketto is stamped on) is from Fancy Pants, and the solid is Taken with Teal from SU!.  All embellishments (except for that big rhinestone brad) came from the Making Memories Flea Market Findings kit.  I stamped in Palette Noir and then colored with Copics.
