I love to color.

I’ve really enjoyed having (making) a little extra time lately to sit and play with my stamps and markers and stuff.  It feels so good to make cards “just for,” dontcha agree?  Here are a couple of images I colored (and made into cards) while watching American Idol (a new-to-me show. . .where’ve I been these last eight seasons?!) or Lost (I’m so behind this season!) or a girly movie.

A cute one from Mo’s Digital Pencil – so excited to see her stuff in rubber from Stamping Bella! Sugar was so much fun to color!

And speaking of Stamping Bella. . . I dug Henrietta out of my pile of never-seen-ink stamps, colored, and then adhered a TON of tiny red rhinestones where there were cherries.

I made this little card using the Daffodil set from Flourishes, fully intending to pick up a bunch of them to give my mom (she fell and broke her foot at church last Thursday!). . . but I haven’t found any yet and am thinking about replacing the polkadotted paper or starting again this evening before I hit the wholesale florist in the morning. . . it kills me that I stamped the sentiment after it was all put together and it slipped!

Everything above was stamped (or printed, in the case of the first card) on Gina K’s Pure Luxury cardstock with Memento Black ink, then colored with a buunnnnnccchhhh of Copics. I added loose glitter with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen to the first, Spicas to the last, and Kaiser rhinestones and Taylor’s Tiny Twinkles to the middle one.  Any questions? Just ask and I’ll be happy to let you know!

Oh wow Jenn!! About time to see you coloring and posting again. If you decide to toss that daffodil card, toss it my way. I love daffodils. The “slipped” lettering looks to me like it’s just shaded a bit. There’s nothing wrong otherwise. Like me, you’re too hard on yourself.
