Another Beate-ful challenge. . .

It’s been really tough to carve out time to play lately, what with all the school programs and kid stuff and my incredible knack for being easily distracted. . . I did find some time to make a cute gift bag for my mom, though. She does Boy Scout outreach stuff and her leadership group mascot is a bear, so Beate’s manly color challenge (check it out on the Kraftin’ Kimmie blog!) and the sweet image from Kraftin’ Kimmie were just perfect!

The gift card was folded, then cut with the scalloped Nestabilities, then adhered to the ribbon and tied to the bag (after folding the top of the bag down and back to keep prying eyes out, of course). Here’s the whole bag:

To dress up the bag, I trimmed some embossed, dotted cardstock to fit the front and just adhered it to the bag, front and back. Simple, quick, and personal!

Stamp: Sledding Pals (available Sunday), Kraftin’ Kimmie

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and a bunch of Copics (E25, E31, E33, E35, E37, E49, B0000, B34, B37, G40, G24, G28, R83, R85, 0.3 Multiliner)

Paper: Chocolate cardstock, embossed dot (with pre-scalloped edge) green cardstock is likely Doodlebug; it’s not labeled, random striped patterned paper (reverses to lighter blue layered under image), X-Press it Blending Card

Accessories: Nestabilities, grosgrain ribbon, button, Ice Stickles, button, navy gift sack

Thanks for stopping by!
