Gail, be on the lookout for an email from me – I need some information from you so the kind people at Copic headquarters can ship your prize to ya!

Today the Copic instructor team is doing a little blog hop to celebrate the availability of Marianne Walker’s book, Shadows & Shading.
This book is designed for beginner artists or paper crafters who want to make their coloring look more realistic, taking it up to the next level by adding shading and shadows. The book does not teach how to draw, rather it teaches how add shadows and shading.
This wire-bound book comes with 4 clear printed guides to help you add shadows properly on your own work.

We get a little introduction to the difference between shadows and shading in the regular Certification and then even more information and practice and one-on-one help in the Intermediate Certification and this book kicks it up a buncha notches! I’m still reading and learning and practicing what I’ve learned – want your own copy so you can, too?
If you’re in North America, leave a comment here between now and Sunday evening. I’ll choose a name on Monday and you’ll get your own copy shipped right to you from Copic HQ. For more chances, visit any of the blogs below! (If you’re in Australia, see that list and enter there!) If you’re not chosen, ask your favorite Copic retailer for it – if they don’t have it, they can probably get it for you!

Once again! This time, with Beate’s pretty flowers as a starting point. I’ve really had fun with it, the pressure of trying to get a card done before bed, the fun of bouncing ideas off of friends miles and miles away. I love technology for bringing us together.
Here’s the card Beate made. SO cute!
Card is a bunch of stuff from my scrap basket. Image from Flourishes, colored with tons of Copics. Let me know if you need details!
