I think this little birdie’s missing California. I know I am! Beautiful weather, friends, stamps, a little shopping. . . it was an amazing weekend, however short. I’m still doing a lot of recovery (the house was a WRECK when I got home, and my office at work was swamped due to rain!) tasks, but had a little time to stamp this evening during the Spurs game. Here’s the info on this card:
The bird image is one you know from Anna’s blog. I love this image, and was so happy that I was a lemming and just ordered whatever Lori did. It was stamped in Palette Noir on Shimmery White, and watercolored with an aquapainter and watercolor crayons. I added a few Tiny primas (thanks, Tracy!) and some Stickles, and then used the same ink to stamp a Papertrey sentiment.
I went to Michael’s earlier this week, and found two slabs of K & Co. Amy Butler double-sided designer mat pads. They matched my wonderful tote from eP, so I had to buy them both! One of the patterns is the pretty leafy stuff on the left. The reverse is the olive-y looking pattern. The stripes are from yet another sheet. (The card base is Certainly Celery, and there are layers of Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip in there, too)
Dotted organdy ribbon is from May Arts, and it’s tied up with some won-der-ful grosgrain that I bought a huge spool of at Fabric Barn in SoCal. It’s such a pretty green, and worked really well with this card.
The whole shebang is mounted on dimensionals.
I stamped a few more things, and will share them another day . . . hopefully tomorrow!
