Flower

Better late than never, right?

Yeah, that’s what I’ll keep repeating to myself! Here’s my take on this month’s challenge:

Maybe you can see more detail in this view. You can see the rest of the girls’ creations in the gallery here.

I actually *did* mask the witch before stamping the brackety thing, but it was a little too busy for me, so I cut out most of the insides of the bracket. That was a *lot* of fussy cutting, but I’m happy with it! I used these cool stamps from Making Memories, and then covered the images with a Sakura two-way glue pen, then dumped black Martha Stewart ribbon all over. The ribbon’s from Jody’s last share. . . sigh. (It’s alllllll over my counter waiting to be put away. I think I need bigger jars!) If you want a couple of yards of that lovely black ribbon of your own check out Cindy’s new store! I just got an order of lovely Strano ribbon that’s just so soft and tie-able. . .but moving on. . . .

I spent yesterday morning running around, and the afternoon in Austin with these lovely ladies.

Jeanne, Sharon, Lydia, Michelle, and Joan after a full afternoon of conquering our brayer fears.

You can read more about it here on Lydia’s blog. Jeanne and I did leave with our shirts on, but our hands were very blue!

Mine are the messiest, and Michelle’s are the cleanest. Hmmmm!

I really enjoyed the afternoon of fun! Thanks, Michelle & Lydia!

Cool card. I love the way you used the glitter and the cutout center. I just got that set and I love it. I’ve made one card and can’t wait to play more.
