Inspiration Saturday

Every Saturday, SmilynStef posts an Inspiration Challenge over on Splitcoast. This week’s was right up my alley! I just loved this little bird print by etsy artist Joom. I had time to play so I set out to make my own version. It took *forever* to cut everything out, but I’m super happy with how it looks all finished!

I used the scalloped and regular square Nestabilities, the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder, a few Swarovski crystals, and some circle punches. The white cardstock is Shimmery White, and it’s adhered to a card base of shimmery orange cardstock. Colors of ink used: Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Brocade Blue.

Hopefully, I’ll get to stamp again tomorrow. I picked up a bunch of new stamps and some jewelry making stuff at the San Antonio Stamp & Scrapbook Expo and really want to play!

ETA: LOOK! Libby took pictures and I took them from her! 🙂 I was SO HAPPY to finally get to meet her, and Courtney, too! I really wanted to take that sweet baby girl home with me, but don’t think Mom would allow it. Thanks for letting me get my baby fix, Libby. Can’t wait to see ya again soon!
