my weekend, that is. Wednesday night, I threw some clothes into a suitcase, packed the laptop, and headed out to the airport for the quick one hour flight to Dallas. Sharon, Lori, Jami, and Jess picked me up at the airport, and SURPRISE! I went to put my bag in the back, and UP POPPED TAYLOR! What a great start to a trip! We had planned really only one thing: to have a good time together. And that we’ve done!
Thursday, we woke up and were treated to a lovely breakfast and hot coffee, and once Emily and Bev came over, we headed out to Waxahachie for shopping and some lunch. Anna, we missed you! Jess, I’m so happy we got to see you! You can see Bev’s blog entry here for some great pictures. After a wonderful lunch, we headed back to Sharon’s and stamped. Oh, what fun. . . we all worked on Beate’s sketch for this week. Here’s mine:

Go on and see Cami, Charmaine, Lori, Mary Jo, and Sharon for some serious inspiration. Me? I’m going to finish waking up and enjoy my friends right here in real life. . . .:)
After finishing up our cards, we headed out for dinner at a local Mexican restaurant. YUM! Came home and stamped and colored and watched ER and cried. . . good friends, good times. Splitcoast has brought so many amazing experiences and people into my life, and I’m happy to count these ladies among my blessings.

Ahhh, good times with friends! Everyone looks so happy. I took notice to y’all wearing short sleeves as I’m shivering in long-johns here lol. Texas is definitely on my traveling list:)
